Â鶹Éç¹ú²úcouncil gave the greenlight for new apartments to be built in the Legacy Ridge development.
Elected officials unanimously voted on Sept. 17 in favour of a development permit that would allow the construction of an 11-unit apartment building and 30 townhomes at District Lot 58, which is off Mamquam Road.
The permit is being issued to Legacy Ridge Developments Â鶹Éç¹ú²úLtd.
Developers also plan on building three open space areas; an activated play area below the apartment building; a picnic area, pump track and bike skills area; and a picnic area, lookout and trail, a municipal staff report says.
